Te Muka rau

Our vision is:
A socially cohesive Aotearoa New Zealand where:

  • Te Ao Māori is strong and vibrant
  • The central place of Te Ao Māori in Aotearoa is understood and supported by all
  • We all feel confident and respected in our own cultures and heritage

Te Muka Rau have donated putea to help get Te Kura-a-Wao up and running and build infrastructure for our programs.

Clare foundation

Launched in 2020, Clare is a private philanthropic investment and giving organisation founded by Anna Margaret Clare Stuck, inspired by her children and creating a better future for them and generations to come.

Clare foundation has provided donations towards Te Kura-a-Wao in order to get more courses operational and help with our governance which has been an amazing koha.

Kaupoi Adventures

Kaupoi Adventures are a operations business based on the coast who work with rangatahi, event management, tourism and general contracting.

The Kaupoi team have used their resources and personnel to implement most courses the Te Kura-a-Wao charitable trust have organized. Kaupoi Adventures are responsible for staffing and implementation at this early stage of these programs.
