Te Kura-a-Wao

Charitable Trust

The Bush Kura

Ko wai mātou? | Who we are?

Te Kura-a-Wao Charitable trust was established in 2019 to provide opportunities for rangatahi to reconnect with the whenua, moana and te taiao.

We use basic courses to introduce rangatahi to new environments, building leadership and life skills. These core attributes are what we believe are important in developing our youth for the future.

Our instructors have a range of different skill sets which encourage, develop and build up rangatahi on all our courses.
Majority of our instructors have background in military or outdoor instructing through out their previous or current careers around Aotearoa.

We are privileged to have the expertise of driven and motivated individuals who can work with our youth but also provide great examples that our rangatahi can relate to and use as positive examples.
